reports that some experienced head coaches are pushing the League Manager's Association to lobby for the rule change that they believe should align management and playing staff.
A change would restrict managerial changes to specific periods during a season.

While the idea carries an element of logic it would be a major surprise if clubs in the Premier League or the EFL voted for the introduction of such a rule. With the transfer windows for players well established and administered at an International level it seems extremely unlikely that clubs would give up the right to change their manager at a time of their choosing.
