Musah has told of comparisons to a combative operator from Milan’s recent past: “For me it's nice that they call me the new Kessie because he was a very good player for Milan. So it's a good and very positive thing that they talk about me as Kessie. I try to improve, to play my game and to help Milan like he did.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Musah does not boast the experience of Kessie, who is now in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli, but he has enjoyed an impressive rise to prominence and considers Milan to be the perfect next step for him. He added, having joined the Serie A giants from Valencia over the summer: “Yes, it's a good step for me to have arrived at Milan. It's something I've always wanted, to play for one of the best teams in the world that has won so many Champions Leagues. For me this step is very important and I'm happy to have taken it and I want to do my best to help this team.”
